Jado is a Professional Makeup Artist and Beauty Trainer, born in St. Petersburg, Florida. In 2003, he relocated to Kuwait in the Middle East, and later to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he was based for eighteen years until March 2023 when he moved to Beirut, Lebanon. Prior to that, Jado earned his first degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles. However, Jado's creativity extended beyond fashion; his designs always incorporated a makeup element, setting a unique backdrop for his creations. Recognizing the need to further his knowledge, he pursued additional education to expand his skills in makeup and set designing.

To set himself apart from his peers, Jado enrolled in FIDM's Advanced Visual Communication program, an opportunity granted to only six students annually. Little did he know at the time that this decision would mark the beginning of a transformative journey towards his career in beauty and makeup.

In the Middle East, he became a part of MAC Cosmetics' Artist Training & Development department, where he held the position of National Trainer. His primary responsibility was to develop and enhance the skills of more than 300 artists in the region, with a particular focus on Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. He dedicated over 11 years to this role before embarking on his own journey to pursue his passion for editorial work. Collaborating with renowned industry professionals, including photographers, designers, models, filmmakers, curators, producers, and art directors, he contributed to the creation of some of the region's finest editorials.

The Makeup Academy was established to bridge the gap and offer in-depth learning of technical makeup artistry, a crucial aspect often difficult to find despite the abundance of beauty tutorials available. Jado also recalls, from his experience in training retail artists in the past, the paramount importance of rapidly elevating the knowledge and artistry levels of new employees, taking them from a beginner's stage to a professional level within the shortest possible time frame. Nobody knows how to streamline time and cost like businesses in the retail industry. New employees were successfully upskilled and certified in record time, and Jado played a vital role in creating these learning modules and implementing them. This experience motivated him to extend this concept to makeup enthusiasts and aspiring MUAs who aim to acquire comprehensive skills in less than two weeks.
